"...and I'll tell you right out that I'm a man who likes talking to a man that likes to talk.
EDITORS and AGENTS (Non-fiction)
At the present time, I've available for various writing assignments. Although lately I've been concentrating on crime and detective fiction, I'm also interested in film, television, comics, pop culture, camping, hiking, bicycling, popular music , and the sometimes heartbreaking cultural differences between Montreal and Southern California's Antelope Valley. I'm particularly interested in writing about music in the adult alternative and contemporary genres.
EDITORS and AGENTS (Fiction)
Of course, I'd love to submit to your anthology, and if you want to publish my novel, I won't say no. If you're looking for a sliver of hard-boiled crime, I'm your man. no extra charge for Canadian settings...
AUTHORS
I'm currently doing reviews , a column and occasional articles and reviews for Mystery Scene. Authors or publishers wishing who would like me to review their current mysteries and crime fiction are urged to e-mail me or send any promotional or review material to the address below. My prefence is for hard-boiled and detective fiction, but I've also reviewed non-fiction and mainstream literature. A word in the ear of the editors at Mystery Scene might also be a good idea.
Of course, placement of all reviews is tentative, and there's no guarantee the review will be positive.
BLURBS
Yes, I have been blurbed on occasion, most recently in Curt Colbert's Sayonaraville and Richard Helms' Wet Debt, but in both cases these blurbs were taken from full-length reviews. And, after careful consideration, I've decided that's the best way to go. I'll gladly review your book, but I can't guarantee a favourable blurb. and as always, it's best to get in touch with me first.
AS AN EDITOR
I'm willing to edit manuscripts in the detective genre, and work with new authors to ready their work for submission to a publisher. To discuss my rates, please contact me.
